Landscaping in Metro Detroit

Design, planting, grading, drainage, and renovation for residential and commercial properties across Southeast Michigan.

Whether you're building a landscape from scratch or renovating one that's tired, we handle the whole job — design, planting, grading, drainage, lighting, and the earthwork underneath it all. One crew, one accountable team, serving Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties since 1993.

Landscaping only holds up over time if the groundwork is right. That's why grading and drainage are part of the design conversation from day one, not something addressed after plants are already in the ground. It's also why the same team that designs your landscape is the one that builds it — and, if you choose, the one that keeps it looking sharp season after season.

We work across residential and commercial properties, which means the process below flexes to the size of the job — a backyard renovation and a corporate campus don't move through the same schedule, but they move through the same design-first process.

How it works

01

Design-first process

We start with a design, not a shovel — so planting, grading, and hardscape are planned together before any work begins on your property. You see the full picture in writing before we touch the site.

02

Built for Michigan conditions

Grading and drainage are part of every design, not an afterthought, so water moves away from your property in a state that gets its share of rain and snowmelt. Plant selections and hardscape materials are chosen to hold up through Michigan freeze-thaw cycles.

03

One crew, install to maintenance

The crew that installs your landscape can also maintain it season to season — one accountable team instead of a handoff between installer and caretaker, and one point of contact if anything needs attention after installation.

Questions

Where do we start?
With a conversation about your property and what you want it to do, followed by a design that lays out planting, grading, and any hardscape before installation begins.
Do you do design only, without installation?
Our standard process pairs design and installation with the same team, so the design that's approved is the design that gets built. This keeps one crew accountable for the result instead of splitting the job between a design firm and a separate installer.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope — most landscape projects run from a few days to a few weeks, with an install schedule laid out as part of your written proposal so you know what to expect before work starts.
Do you work on both residential and commercial properties?
Yes. The same design-first process applies to a residential yard renovation and a commercial property — the scope and schedule differ, the process doesn't.
