Yard & Landscape Grading
Final grading, lawn leveling, and slope correction so your yard is safe to use and water drains where it should.
Whether you've just built and need a final grade established before sod or hydroseed, or you need a slope corrected to move water away from your home or commercial property, our grading crew can help. Low or uneven spots — in the middle of the yard or along the foundation — are exactly what grading fixes.
Grading a yard properly before seed or sod goes down keeps the surface safe for people and pets and reduces the risk of water pooling against your foundation. We handle grading as part of total landscape renovations to resolve drainage and safety issues and set the slope your property needs.

Common questions
- How do I know if my yard needs grading?
- Standing water after rain, soggy low spots, or ground sloping toward your foundation are the usual signs. We walk the site, check the existing grade, and tell you whether leveling, slope correction, or drainage work is the right fix.
- Does grading happen before sod or hydroseed?
- Yes — grading comes first. A properly established grade is what makes new sod or hydroseed take evenly and keeps water moving away from structures instead of pooling on the new lawn.
- Will equipment tear up the rest of my yard?
- We plan access routes before work starts and keep equipment to the work area. Any turf disturbed along the route is restored as part of the job.
