Snow removal & grounds care for churches and schools
Lots, walks, and steps cleared before Sunday services and the first bus, on a schedule built around your calendar instead of a plow route's.
A church and a school have the same winter problem: a schedule that does not move. Services start at nine, the first bus pulls in at seven, and a funeral gets booked for a Tuesday morning. A plow route that reaches you whenever it reaches you works for neither.
We have cleared lots and maintained grounds across Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties since 1993. For a church or a school we write your calendar into the contract (service times, drop-off windows, evening events) and sequence the route so you are clear before people arrive, not after.
What we cover for churches and schools
Clear before the doors open
Most of a church's traffic arrives inside a couple of hours a week, and most of a school's inside the morning drop-off. We sequence storm routes around those windows so the lot, the drop-off lane, and the walks are done before the first car, and entrances are re-treated when a storm runs into the morning. Your trigger depth is in the contract, so nobody is guessing whether two inches is enough to send a truck.
A number the board can approve
Parish councils, school boards, and finance committees approve one number a year. All-inclusive pricing gives you that: one fixed price for the season with every event included. We quote it next to per-push on every proposal, so the committee sees both before it votes.
A record if someone falls
The steps outside a sanctuary and the walk from a bus loop are where slip-and-fall claims start. Every visit is time-stamped in LMN, every truck is GPS tracked, and on-site cameras back up the log, so if a claim arrives months later your insurer gets a record instead of a recollection.
Common questions
- Can you clear our lot before Sunday services?
- Yes. Service times go into your contract, and storm routes are sequenced so the lot, walks, and entrances are clear before people arrive. If snow is still falling into the morning, entrances and steps are re-treated as conditions demand.
- Do you clear school bus loops and drop-off lanes?
- Yes. Bus loops, drop-off lanes, and the walks from them are scoped explicitly and cleared ahead of the morning drop-off window. Your trigger depth, including zero-tolerance if your school requires it, is written into the contract.
- How do churches and schools usually pay for snow removal?
- Most choose all-inclusive: one fixed price for the winter with every event included, which fits an annual budget approved once by a council or board. Per-push, billed per event by depth, is quoted alongside it so you can compare.
- We have more than one building or campus. Can one contract cover them?
- Yes. Every site runs under one agreement with one account manager, whether that is a church with a school next door or several buildings across our service area.
Request a snow proposal
Tell us about the property, or the whole portfolio. A senior estimator walks the site, sets your trigger depth with you, and sends a written all-inclusive and per-push proposal. One site or fifty, you get one account manager.
