Grounds & snow for facility managers

Your building has to open on time and stay safe underfoot. We handle the ground it sits on — every season, with the documentation to prove it.

For a facility manager the grounds are a liability surface first and an aesthetic second. An icy approach in February and an overgrown sightline in July are the same category of problem: something that puts people at risk and lands on your desk.

We have run commercial snow and grounds contracts across Metro Detroit since 1993 with our own crews and equipment — 50 to 75 pieces of equipment, 30 to 50 staff, and 75+ crew on the road during a storm.

What we cover for a facility

24/7 storm response
Lots, drive lanes, and approaches cleared around your operating hours.
Ice management
Salt and liquid de-icing applied as conditions demand, not just after accumulation.
Walkways & entrances
The pedestrian paths where slip-and-fall exposure actually lives.
Contracted grounds care
Mowing, beds, and turf on a schedule that stays out of your operating window.
Sightline & canopy work
Tree and shrub trimming that keeps entries, signage, and cameras clear.
Event documentation
Time-stamped plow and salt logs in LMN, backed by on-site cameras.
01

Cleared before your building opens

Snow does not arrive on a schedule, so we do not work on one. We monitor events and respond 24/7, sequencing routes so lots and walkways are cleared ahead of the first shift rather than during it. Your trigger depth is written into the contract — zero-tolerance for high-traffic and medical sites, or a set depth for lower-priority areas.

02

The liability file writes itself

Every snow and ice event produces time-stamped plow and salt logs in LMN, backed by on-site cameras. When a claim surfaces months after the fact, you are pulling a record rather than reconstructing a timeline — which is exactly when that documentation is worth what it cost.

03

One vendor for the whole exterior

Snow, grounds, irrigation, drainage, and tree work under one contractor means one escalation path. The crew that clears your lot in January already knows where the islands, curbs, and irrigation heads are, because they maintained them in July.

Common questions

How quickly do you respond to a snow event?
We run 24/7 event response through the storm window and sequence routes so lots and walkways are cleared ahead of your opening. The trigger depth that starts the work is written into your contract — zero-tolerance for high-traffic and medical sites, or a set depth elsewhere.
Do you handle sidewalks and entrances or just the parking lot?
Both. Walkways, entrances, and approaches are where most pedestrian exposure sits, so they are scoped explicitly rather than treated as an afterthought to the lot.
What record do we get for insurance purposes?
Time-stamped plow and salt logs in LMN for every event, backed by on-site cameras. It is one continuous service record you can hand to a carrier or an attorney.
Can you schedule grounds work around our operating hours?
Yes — mowing and maintenance visits are scheduled around your operating window as part of the contract, so crews are not working through your busiest hours.
