Commercial

One commercial contractor, all four seasons

Grounds maintenance, snow and ice management, landscape installation, and irrigation for commercial properties across Metro Detroit — run by one accountable team, not a call center.

Great Lakes Landscaping has run commercial grounds and snow contracts across Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties since 1993. Property managers, facility teams, HOA boards, and general contractors hire us because the same company that mows your turf in July is the one clearing your lot in January — one contract, one point of contact, one standard of work.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and we run the work with in-house crews and our own equipment: 50 to 75 pieces of equipment, 30 to 50 staff, and 75+ crew on the road during a storm event, backed by vetted subcontractors when a storm demands it.

01

One vendor instead of four

Splitting a property between a summer landscaper and a winter plow contractor means two contracts, two invoices, and two companies pointing at each other when something is missed. Running both under one contractor removes that seam entirely — and it keeps the same crews on your property year-round, so the people clearing your lot already know where the curbs, islands, and irrigation heads are.

02

Documented service, every visit

Grounds visits produce a service report. Snow and ice events produce time-stamped plow and salt logs in LMN, backed by on-site cameras. When an owner asks what was done, or a slip-and-fall claim lands months later, the record already exists — you are not reconstructing it from memory.

03

Local accountability

We are based on Gratiot Ave in Chesterfield and we serve Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties. Your account manager is local, the crews are ours, and escalation does not route through a regional call center in another state.

Common questions

Do you handle both summer grounds and winter snow on one contract?
Yes — that is the core of how we work. Grounds maintenance and snow and ice management can run under a single agreement with one account manager, which is why the same crews are on your property all twelve months.
What snow contract structures do you offer?
Two: all-inclusive, which is one fixed price for the winter with every event included, and per-push, which bills per event by snow depth. We quote both on every proposal so you can compare budget certainty against a mild-winter gamble.
What size properties do you take on?
Everything from a single retail center or medical building up to multi-site portfolios. With 50 to 75 pieces of equipment and 75+ crew on a storm, the constraint is route geography rather than property count.
Are you licensed and insured for commercial work?
Yes — licensed, bonded, and insured, with certificates available for your file before work begins. We also hold memberships with IREM, BOMA, CAI, UCOM, MNLA, MGIA, and DMAA, and we are a Unilock Authorized Contractor.
